This limited edition cacao comes from the Amazonian rainforests of Satipo in Peru, where it is carefully produced by Asháninka cooperatives who are guardians of the land and keepers of ancestral knowledge.
Grown within one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth, this cacao is cultivated through community led agroforestry, working in harmony with native trees, wildlife, and the natural rhythms of the rainforest. No chemicals are used, only traditional practices that respect the soil, the environment, and generations of wisdom.
Each bean is hand harvested and sun fermented beneath open skies, following methods passed down through generations. From harvest to preparation, the entire process remains intentional and deeply rooted in tradition.
This cacao is made from ceremonial grade Criollo, one of the rarest and most valued cacao varieties in the world. Known for its smooth and refined flavour, it offers a more pure and authentic cacao experience compared to mass produced chocolate.
Beyond its origin and quality, this cacao carries something deeper. Each batch is prepared with care, often accompanied by songs, blessings, and intention, honouring cacao’s long standing role in ritual and connection.
By choosing this cacao, you are supporting Asháninka communities in preserving their culture, protecting the Amazon rainforest, and maintaining a way of life that stays connected to the Earth.
A more conscious way to begin your day, one cup at a time.
